Egyptian Qari, Ibtihal Reciter Passes Away
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Sheikh Muhammad Sharafeddin, a renowned Egyptian Ibtihal (prayer) reciter passed away on Monday.
Sharafeddin, who was visually-impaired, was also known for his beautiful Quran recitations.
He loved the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and was fond of the Iranian Quran activists and Qaris.
Sharafeddin once said it was his wish to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, Iran before he dies.
He had been recently invited to cooperate with Iranian Quran TV’s Golestan Program.
