According to Hossein Moqaddamkia, secretary of Iran’s Tilawa National Quranic Plan, the Iraqi teenagers have travelled to Iran at the end of the first term of their Quran learning courses.

They have been invited to Iran as part of the interactions between Iranian and Iraqi officials in charge of the Quranic plans, he said.

Amir-ul-Qura (the best Qari) has been designed based on the Iranian Tilawa plan for training skillful Quran reciters.

The Iraqi delegation consists of 18 teenage Quran learners accompanied by a number of Quran experts and officials, he noted.

Moqaddamkia added that they will meet with a number of senior clerics and take part in Quran recitation sessions in the holy cities of Qom and Mashhad.
