Al-Azhar Displays Works on Quds at Cairo Int’l Book Fair
According to the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), the center has attended the exhibition to promote the objectives highlighted at the international conference in support of Quds recently held in Cairo.
It has presented works about the history of Quds, its sacred places, its occupation by the Zionist regime and the attacks on Islamic holy sites in the city.
Various publications of the Islamic center including religious magazines, academic books, panorama pictures of the city, and books on the center’s activities are among the works displayed by the center at the exhibition.
Cultural and art programs such as plays in Arabic and English, Tawasheeh and Ibtihal performances in different languages, literary and poetry reading sessions, and workshops on calligraphy, painting, caricature and handicrafts are the other activities of the center at the book fair.
Forums and interviews with Al-Azhar scholars will also be organized in cooperation with the institutes affiliated to the Islamic center.
The 49th international book fair in Cairo was opened on January 27 and will run until February 10.
