Exhibition in Kuwait Features Quran Memorization Methods

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An exhibition introducing new Quran memorization methods has been mounted in Kuwait City on the sidelines of the 9th international Quran competition of Kuwait.

Quran Memorization Exhibition Underway in Kuwait 

 

According to Al-Watan newspaper, different Quranic and religious institutes from Kuwait and 12 other Islamic countries have participated in the exhibition.

Libya’s Office for Quranic Affairs, “Maktoum” Quran Memorization Center of Dubai, Egypt’s Charity Association of Quran Memorization, Jordan’s Association for Preserving the Holy Quran, Quran and Sunnah International Association of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s Office for International Association of Islam, Mauritania’s Education Center of Scholars, Othman Center of Indonesia and the Nigeria-based branch of the Association of Islamic Aid are among the participants at the event.

Ya’qub Ahmad, director of the Quranic exhibition, said that the expo, which will run until April 18, provides a good opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with methods and means of Quran memorization and different experiences in this respect.

Sheikh Yasin Hamzawi, head of the Egyptian Charity Association of Quran Memorization described the exhibition as an interesting initiative.

The 9th edition of the international Quran memorization, recitation and Tajweed competition in Kuwait has been underway since April 10 with 130 contenders from 79 countries.

Mohammad Javad Delfani and Mahdi Gholamnejad represent Iran in the categories of memorization of the entire Quran and recitation in this edition of the competition, which will conclude on April 18.
