According to ammonnews.net, Abdul Nasir Abulbasal, the Jordanian minister of Awqaf, said that the courses are free and have been organized for all age groups.
The principles of Quran reading and recitation, Tafseer (interpretation) of Quran, religious rulings (Ahkam) as well as Quran memorization and Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are among the themes of the courses.
Hatam Sahimat, director of the Religious Education Office affiliated to the ministry, said that the summer Quranic courses aim to encourage the participants to make the best use of their holidays to learn the Quran.
Some 2000 mosques all over the country are hosting the morning Quranic courses three days a week.
