Quran Competition Referee Training Course Held in Medina

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international educational course on Quran competition refereeing was organized with participants from 24 countries in the holy city of Medina.

  

According to sabaq newspaper, 25 judges of international Quran competitions attended the course, taught by experts in Quranic sciences.

Promotion of refereeing skills for those foming judges panels at international Quran competitions and training international judges based on scientific methods were the objectives of the course.

It was held on the sidelines of the 40th international Quran competition of Saudi Arabia.

The participants who successfully passed the course received certificates from the country's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dissemination and Guidance.

The international competition on Quran memorization, recitation and interpretation titled "King Abdul Aziz Quran Competition" was organized in Medina from October 3 to 5.
