Pakistani Quran Memorizers to Visit Iran in Ramadan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A group of teenage Quran memorizers from Pakistan will visit Iran during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

The 9-strong Quranic delegation will be from the city of Hyderabad, in the Sindh province of Pakistan, according to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).

They will travel to Iran thanks to the efforts by the Iranian Culture House in Hyderabad, Noor Mobin International Institute and ICRO’s office in Khorasan Razavi province, Ahmad Abdollahpour, head of the Culture House, said in a meeting with the manager of the city’s Jamaran Quranic Sciences Institute.

He added that the teenagers will visit different Quranic centers and institutes in Iran and learn about the latest teachings methods in memorization and recitation of the Quran.

The delegation will also visit holy shrines in the cities of Mashhad and Qom and attend Quranic programs in Iran in their weeklong stay, he went on to say.

The holy month of Ramadan, the month of Quran, will begin next week.
