3500 Quran Teachers Trained in Pakistan
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An expert in charge of drawing up guidelines on Quran teaching in Pakistan said 3500 individuals have been trained for teaching the Quran at non-Quranic schools of the country.
Fatemeh Shahab told IQNA that the Quran teaching guidelines and a text book have been published for the Quran teacher training courses in different parts of the South Asian country.
Those taking the course will be prepared to teach the Quran at non-Quranic schools, she said.
She added that seeing a lack of Quran copies and Quran teachers at non-Quranic schools in Pakistan, the organizers of the courses have made efforts to equip the schools with the Divine Book and train 3500 Quran teachers.
