According to akhbarelyom.com, the ministry announced that with the opening of the new schools, the number of Quranic schools in the Arab country reached 990.
They were launched in line with the ministry’s objective to provide free educational services for those willing to learn the Quran, facilitate Quran reading and memorization and protect the youth and teenagers against extremist thoughts.
The ministry urged parents to register their children at the schools for their summer Quranic courses.
