The conference was held on the 30th anniversary of the martyrdom of Seyed Abbas Mousawi, the first secretary general of the Hezbollah resistance movement.
The participants delivered speeches and presented research papers on issues like the resistance, Palestine and al-Quds, Islamic unity, the Islamic Revolution, and Wilayat Faqih in the thoughts of the martyr.
They stressed the need for getting inspiration from the ethical, spiritual, cultural, social and ideological aspects of Martyr Mousawi’s unique character.
The final statement of the conference also reiterated the importance of the issue of Quds and the necessity of continuation of resistance in all its forms until the destruction of the Zionist regime.
It also said unity in the Muslim Ummah is inevitable in order for Muslims to get to their objectives.
Sayed Abbas Mousawi was a founder of Hezbollah and its former secretary general. He was martyred in a Zionist regime missile attack in February 1992.
