Mourning Rituals on Hazrat Zahra Martyrdom Planned in Sweden
The Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Stockholm will host the mourning rituals for three days, starting on Tuesday, December 27, the center announced.
The programs include recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, elegy recitation, religious speeches and recitation of supplications.
Religious scholar Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Shomali will deliver the speeches and Haj Ali Mosallayi will recite elegies.
The center has underlined the importance of observing the health protocols for those wishing to take part in the programs.
Shia Muslims and others in different parts of the world hold ceremonies every year on the first days of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the lunar Hijri calendar to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).
The Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center holds various religious and cultural programs throughout the year for Muslims residing in Stockholm and nearby cities.
