Practical Invitation to Salah
This invitation can be made via the tongue and also by action.
If prominent figures stand in the first line in congregational prayers, if people wear their best clothes and use perfume when going to the mosque, and if Salah is performed in a simple and swift way, these would in themselves serve as invitation to Salah.
Prophets like Abraham (AS) and Ismail (AS) cleaned the house of God for those who performed Salah and this indicates that if prominent figures are in charge of establishing Salah, it would have a significant role in inviting people to Salah.
Imam Ali (AS) said in a letter to Malik al-Ashtar: Do not forget to set apart the best of your time for communion with God (for Salah) and know that the value of all of your deeds is dependent on your Salah.
