Quranic Fruits Festival Starts in Tehran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 6th festival of pomegranate and other fruits whose names have been mentioned in the Quran began in Tehran on Monday.

The Goftogu Park in northern Tehran is hosting the event, Fars reported.

It features pomegranate, fig, apple, grapes, date and olive. 

Producers from different provinces of the country have presented the fruits and their products in more than 100 booths.

According to the Quran, fruits like grape, date, fig, olive and pomegranate are heavenly gifts from God.
