Courses on Sociology, Psychology Planned for Egyptian Preachers
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s Awqaf (Endowments) Ministry plans to hold courses on psychology and sociology for the country’s imams of mosques.
According to Al-Ahram website, the three-day educational program will be held in cooperation with Matrouh University.
The Teacher Training Faculty of the university will host the courses planned for 50 selected preachers and imams of mosques.
The ministry says the program has been planned in line with its objectives to provide imams of mosques, preachers and the staff of the ministry with continuous high quality educational opportunities.
It added that such courses are very important in promoting the level of knowledge of the preachers and keeping them up-to-date.
