Quran & Etrat Fraction’s Record in Promoting Quran Hailed

The Quran and Etrat Fraction of the Majlis has a brilliant record in promoting the Quran, a Quranic manager said.

 Speaking to IQNA, Ali Sarabi, director of the Union of Quranic Institutes said the fraction played a major role in the development of Quranic activities.

He said the Majlis and all other bodies in the Islamic Republic of Iran serve the Quran and Etrat in one way or another but the Quran and Etrat Fraction of the Majlis acts in this field in a specialized way.

He stated that the establishment of the fraction was a blessing and that the fraction both works in monitoring Quranic activities in the country and analyzing bills in Quranic fields.

Sarabi also hailed the role of the fraction in passing the bill for allocating 0.5 percent of the government bodies’ budget for Quranic activities.

The Quranic activists went on to say that the fraction maintains close relations with the country’s Quranic bodies like the Council for Developing Quranic Culture, the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Culture Ministry, etc.
