Photo Exhibition of Quds Islamic Historical Works Held in Turkey
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Photos of Islamic historical heritage sites of Quds (Jerusalem) were put on display in an exhibition in Sanliurfa city of Turkey.
According to Milliyet newspaper, the main objective of the exhibition was to stress the need for preservation of Islamic heritage in the Occupied territories of Palestine.
As many as 47 photos of Al-Aqsa mosque and Qubbat al-Sakhra (the Dome of the Rock) were showcased at the exhibition.
The Zionist regime's crimes in Occupied Palestine were also featured on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Ahmad Palali, an organizer of the exhibition, stressed the importance of Quds for the Muslim world and said the exhibition has been held in different parts of Turkey and received very well.
He expressed hope that such activities will expand and help to raise awareness about the need for preserving Islamic heritage all over the world.
