Quranic Programs Slated for Martyrdom Anniversary of Gen. Soleimani
A local Quranic institute in Kerman, the birth and burial place of the commander, has organized four Quranic circles in the coming week.
Accordingly, the first circle will be held in Kerman near Soleimani’s tomb on Saturday, January 1. Three other Quranic circles have also been planned for Jan. 2 at Imam Reza (AS) Shrine, Jan. 3 at countries of Resistance Front, and Jan. 4 in Tehran.
All the gatherings will broadcast live from Quran TV and Radio Quran across the country.
General Soleimani, al-Muhandis, and a number of their entourage were killed in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of January 3, 2020.
The White House and the Pentagon claimed responsibility for the assassinations, saying the attack was carried out at the direction of then US President Donald Trump.
